The secret of love chemistry

All of us, at one point or another, have felt this emotion in our heart called love. Most people have got stories to tell of how other people have made their hearts flutter. Love chemistry is tricky though and you wonder what your feelings really are. Lust, interest, love at first sight or just general chemistry You just know that you feel a connection to someone else. Then again you can meet someone, fall in love, and discover as you get to know them that there is no chemistry between you. Your short-lived relationship has become boring and dull. So Is It Chemistry Or Is It Love? For a relationship to survive it requires love chemistry – a mix of both. When there is a high degree of chemistry between two people without love, then their heart-pounding sex will quickly fade and boredom will replace the infatuation. Chemistry and love are both key features of a deep relationship. Take away one and the other is just not enough to sustain a relationship year after year.

Relationships without intimacy: Where are they going?

Relationships without intimacy: what are the reasons, problems, and solutions. Intimacy with the right person is something we all crave and want. Have you ever noticed how relationships can start with a spark, and quickly slow down and become boring? It is normal for relationships to slow down and the reasons are biological and psychological. Individual reasons vary, but the source of the problems is often the same. Some of the issues that often affect relationships as a whole and particularly intimacy, are financial struggles which experts say is the number one reason for relationships to fail. If you can’t pay your bills on time or have problems affording going out, doing fun things or even buying necessities, you are going to be more stressed and are probably going to lack the desire for intimacy. Arguing, bickering, and spending too much time without your partner is also an intimacy killer. Take time alone, go on a trip for a week or a weekend. Intimacy is the glue in your relationship. Relationships without intimacy are no romantic relationships at all. Make an effort to do something nice for your partner, surprise them with a nice gift or take them to a movie. Communicate openly, don’t interrupt and be willing to make some sacrifices. This way your relationship will slowly but surely restore itself and intimacy will again be a beautiful part of your life.

Relationships should be easy, shouldn’t they?

Do you ever feel like you are putting too much effort into making your relationship work? It is at times very exhausting when you try to be perfect, act the way you think you’re supposed to, being careful about every little thing. Everyone wonders if relationships should be easy. The answer is yes; relationships should be easy! What is the key to an easy and fulfilling relationship? Things to look for in a good relationship include loyalty, faithfulness, respect, good communication, trust and, of course, mutual love. It’s okay to have things you don’t agree on, but when you don’t have anything to hide from your partner, you can talk about anything and overcome issues. Mutual love is absolutely the most important thing in a good relationship. Love makes you care about the other person no matter what. Also, forgiveness is a major factor in relationships. If people are able to forgive and forget the little mistakes easily then they will be happier in their relationships.

Romance vs love – which would you prefer?

There comes a time in our life when we have to ask ourselves what we want out of a relationship; is it romance or, is it love? In a perfect world, we could have both in equal measure, but for a lot of people, the romance levels begin to die down the longer they are together. Romance vs love, so what is the real difference anyway? Romance is defined as the feeling of mystery in love, so it goes that the two are mutually related. However, as we become more familiar with each other, the mystery lessens and that is possibly when the romance disappears. If we don’t want our relationship to come down to the age old argument of romance vs love we need to keep the mystery alive. Surprise your loved one with a special dinner, a night out on the town, or a romantic date in your own house. If you are running low on funds, this can be fixed with a loan from With a small investment, you could plan a romantic getaway and keep the romance alive, in even the longest lasting relationship. It is not a question of romance, or love anymore, in this day and age, we deserve it all!

Symbols of love – Flowers

Symbols of love - The most popular, red roses.

There are many symbols of love, from a heart to a Celtic sign. We can see them everywhere people profess their love. Social media, phones, and apps provide us with characters, šŸ’•, and emojo’s with a variety of symbols, but the one we all know and appreciate is the symbols of love that are flowers. Flowers have their own language too, called floriography, it had its heyday in the Victorian era.

This was when flower giving became an art and many a lady was pleased or displeased by their beau’s flowering gift. Giving bouquets of flowers to a loved one, be they wife, mother or friend is a message understood globally; whatever the language, a flower can express what you cannot find the words to say. The joy of flowers is not just in the symbolism but in the gift of something beautiful, the sharing of that beauty and the fragrances that accompany them, are all saying something.

Whilst we see the giving of flowers as a gesture or message of love, especially roses, in floriography there are individual meanings attached to varieties and the particular colour chosen. For example, a pale pink rose can mean grace and joy while a dark pink rose means thankfulness. A red rose?

The giving of this signifies love and respect. Be careful, though, the actual way they are presented has meaning too, a flower offered with the right-hand means ‘yes’ whilst a left-hand offering would mean ‘no’.

Inspirational quotes : My Top 3

Inspirational quotes : My Number One

Hi everyone, The past month has been challenging for me. After being in bed due to the flu I was down again with a stomach bug. Oh, it felt awful :(. Being laid low it was some Inspirational quotes that kept my brain working. I got hold of an amazing e-book on inspirational quotes, which I found while surfing the web on my Kindle Fire.

These are my tops three: (1) “Do necessary things; then possible things and impossible becomes possible” – This quote is definitely number one according to me. This famous quote was given by Francis Assisi. It inspires one to act when you are afraid to do so and leads to a path of success.

(2) “Perfection is not real, but if we try to be perfect we end up being excellent” – This quote inspires to push our limits and leads us to do our best. Vince Lombardi an American football player and coach came up with those inspirational words.

(3) “Planning is not what makes life better, it is accepting the reality” – This quote by Joseph Campbell really is philosophy represented. Our whole life we have been told to plan our day, week and year. By accepting what lies before us is what I think is the way forward, certainly for me. I now have to pace myself and find my energy and balance after this bout of flu instead of rushing around like an idiot trying to catch up on everything.

Love Stories…

A Kindle Fire is a wonderful present for any reader
My nice new Kindle fire

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I’m not had some sort of flu whatever over the holidays and really washed me out. Mind you when awake all I did was read, and buy books! I got a kindle fire for xmas and some rather nice amazon vouchers (yea!) .

I have spent some time also researching online writing course as I feel it is about time I start that love story. There are numerous sites for new writers but I really need something more constructed that will make me focus. I have found a couple but thinkĀ I will go with creative writing introduction at UBC.

I have also been downloading some wonderful books, love stories, how to write, how to publish.See I am being very serious. I have also joined the Goodreads Challenge for 2016, I am going for 150 books this year. i am sure I will get there!!

Two of the love stories I have re-readĀ during my stay at home time are:

The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger – Ā A love story confounded by time itself. Plus the ebook version I got had part of the follow up story of their daugher and her two husbands! Think that will have to be my next purchase.

My second book is a classic and I loved it when we read it at school although I was too embarrassed to say that out loud -boys you know don’t read sissy books – well they did not admit to it if they did.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen – this is just an amazing love story between two strong willed people. I love the language, maybe my inclination is to write a historical love story..

Let me know what your favourite love story novel is and why.
